Hyderabad-based health-tech startup Litemed India introduces Curapod M

Litemed India, a Hyderabad-based health-tech startup, has introduced Curapod M, a science-led solution developed specifically for menstrual pain and cramps. Fully engineered and manufactured in India, Curapod M brings together medical-grade photobiomodulation (PBM), adaptive personalisation and digital intelligence to address an experience that women have been expected to plan their lives around for generations. Curapod M is licensed by CDSCO and registered with the US FDA.

At the centre of Curapod M is a clinically validated photobiomodulation platform designed to work on biological processes associated with menstrual pain, including prostaglandin-linked pathways involved in cramping. In clinical evaluation, 80% of women experienced zero pain after using Curapod M.

Curapod M uses specific red and near-infrared wavelengths through photobiomodulation, supported by a proprietary adaptive engine that personalises therapy. Its companion app learns from the user’s cycle, pain patterns, and therapy history and is designed to anticipate the likely intensity of an upcoming cycle. Together, the device and app shift the experience from reacting to pain to anticipating and managing it more intelligently.

Curapod M is expected to roll out across India through Curapod’s website, Amazon, and Flipkart, with an indicative launch price of around Rs 11,999. Availability will extend across metros and Tier 2 markets.
