Karnataka aims to build Technology & Innovation Bridge with Australia

The Government of Karnataka has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU with inQ Innovation Global, Australia, to build a Technology & Innovation Bridge between Karnataka and New South Wales.

Minister for Electronics, IT & Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, Priyank Kharge, was present at the MoU signing. The partnership aims to create structured pathways for Karnataka startups and technology companies to access global markets, investors, industry networks and innovation ecosystems.

With a focus on DeepTech and emerging technologies, the collaboration will drive engagement across AI, HealthTech, Biotechnology, CleanTech, Defence & Aerospace, Quantum Computing, Digital Infrastructure, AVGC-XR and Gaming.

The MoU will also strengthen connections between startups, investors, research institutions, universities and industry, creating opportunities for market access, startup mobility, research collaboration and global scale-up.

This indicates a step towards connecting Karnataka's innovation ecosystem with global opportunities and enabling startups to scale beyond borders.
